Our limited selection of classes are built on the teachings of Chicago style improvisation using the methods learned from our time studying and performing at world famous comedy programs of The Second City , iO Chicago, and The Annoyance Chicago.

Set Bitch Free is a workshop and tribal event for lady identifying improvisers of any experience level hosted by Devin Bockrath. With a focus on technique, character development, risk taking, and the power of support, this class aims to shake vulnerabilities loose, test personal limits and set fire to the rain, duh, #Adele. Narrative Improv with Andy Junk
In this workshop, we'll focus on the fundamentals of narrative group work. By emphasizing strong emotional wants, we can discover how to tell a coherent story with a satisfying conclusion through group work. We'll also touch on various narrative styles with which we can pull from to inform our choices.

Intuition and the Group: Exploring the Unknown through the Games of Viola Spolin​ with Michael Brunlieb​
Viola Spolin was a teacher and innovator hugely influential in the development of theatrical improvisation as an art form, her work is really radical and great, and more relevant than ever right now. In this workshop, we'll explore her approach to space substance, accessing intuition, and theatrical communication. Come join and play some games!

Finding Characters Physically with Thomas Kelly
Acquire some tools and perspectives on how you use your body and better understand what it is you are actually communicating physically. Drawing from the Lecoq pedagogy and mime technique, we will explore this thing that’s under our heads and see what characters can come out of there. We will isolate and delve into the different parts of the body to create a more sophisticated physical vocabulary and look at how rhythm, emotion, and character as mask can be used to enrich the way you play on stage.
